Well, what do we have here?  Could it be a brand spankin' new week?  Think of all the possibilities!  Just imagine what we can accomplish in the next week -- it boggles the mind!  Let's make the Victory Log work over time this week, Buddies!!  Wouldn't that be a great way to set the tone for the new year?

LOL there is no "real" work to do here right now, hence my catching up on the board. I like routine, though, so it was nice to get back to it.

Hi Buddies!!! Happy New Years!


Sounds like everyone had a wonderful holiday and is ready to get back to the grind.


I for am not quite to be honest. Last week/weekend was busy for me so I could have used an extra day to do just nothing. But sadly I am back at work and will push on.


My plan for this week is two things...well 3 actually. First: eat breakfast in the morning second: walk at lunch third: walk again at the gym after work.


Im trying to focus on little things here and there. And im trying to start it out with just my body getting back to being able to get up early with no problem and walking alot. In highschool I walked tons, andeven more my first year of college and thats when I kept my weight off. I was an early bird and walked miles.


It may seem alot of walking but I got snack bars to help with the intake. Sometimes when I would walk alot I would get tired so Im going to try and battle that before it starts.

Hey buddies,

Just wanted to drop in quick and say that I am still alive! Bruce was home for 2 weeks and we are/were working on putting in a kitchenette type thing in the basement. It's all framed and drywalled now, my FIL is just sanding and finishing this week. Bruce did all the framing, electrical and water himself...he is so handy!

Today I am not feeling well. I've got it coming out both ends (sorry, TMI) and I just want to go to bed! Bruce is back to work today...not a great first day back at it, huh?

Anyway, just wanted to pop in quick. I plan to be around a lot more now.

Hey, glad to see you, Cass! I am not adjusting very well to being back at work, either, if it's any consolation. I want to be in bed, having a nap and sweet dreams. LOL

I do believe that making small changes consistently WILL add up to health-gain and weight-loss, so just do it!! Nothing is better or easier than walking, so no excuses, right? ;o)

Living in Wisconsin we have icy roads for about 5 months but Saturday night it warmed up enough to rain only to become cold again.

I dont think that it will. If I catch it early than I can usually get it under control before it gets to bad. I am making a fresh start this week. Its the first week of the new year and I am going to make it a good one.
