GOOD MONDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Hello, my buddies!

I'm up in the middle of the night with a case of my-baby-just went-back-to-college-blues.  Sigh.  Break sure flew by, and I sure miss her.

But, on to brighter things -- Happy Monday!  Happy fresh new week!  Did you have a good weekend?  Did you treat yourself well?

I loved the way the action picked up in the Victory Log last week.  Let's all keep watching for victories to post, okay?  I love it when we celebrate victories!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Morning Karen-

AF decided to visit yesterday, so I have been trying to fight off food with limited success.

Good Morning!

This weekend was spent getting rid of anything "junk food" like in my home! My husband has agreed to get back on the Weight Watchers Program with me. We've had success in the past, and we are ready to DO THIS! I forget just how much food I am actually able to eat on this program! I tend to get into my old habits of skipping meals thinking it will help me lose the weight, when in all reality, I'm just hurting myself!

I also spent some time getting organized around the house. It always makes me feel so much better when there is order to things! No School today for the little one, so I think I'll dance around the living room with him today! He Loves that! Have a great Monday Buddies!

I have no school today as well, and I'm cleaning the apt too. I think I accidently bleached a rag of mine... it was once yellow and now it's white. :-(

I need to go grocery shopping again cause I got ideas for food - but I went once this week so I'm just going to wait since I have food to last the week.

Weight watchers is a good program I think. I am not on it, though. I hope that goes well. I think things always work nicely when you have another person to do it with.

((((Karen))))) sending feel-good vibes your way, friend. I'm sure you enjoyed your time with L'il K home to the utmost. I hope you get to spend some time with her again really soon!

I feel like I have been out of touch for SO long. Work was a nightmare last week. Already feel behind in course work after one week. Was sick all weekend (probably stress-related), but today feels good and happy again. LOL Aaaahhhhhh!

I did manage to lose a half-pound below ticker, so that felt great this morning, too.

Do you have snow?? I noticed all of your snowy blinkies. Or is it wishful blinky-ing? ;o)

I've missed you guys so much and will try to be on the board more this week (catching p, if othing else). MWAH!

Oh, I relate Ruth! I am so bad with yummy leftovers (especially the Mexican kind). Next time ust freeze half of it right off the bat, and take that temptation out of your way. Then you'll have something yummy to warm up down the road. Win-win!

Plain yogurt and buy some fresh fruit to go with
Wheat pasta, fresh tomatoes and basil with mushrooms
I want to buy some fish or shrimp and then lemon and steamed veggies

Oh and dove chocolate so I stop getting dessert at the dinning center!!! The chocolate sq fixes the craving without adding as much calories as the other options.

I also want to try grits, sweet potato sticks, steamed zucchini, leeks, and brown rice. Just not entirely sure what to eat those things with yet in my mind.

Rain

Enjoy the Simple.
