Happy Thirstday!! It's tougher to feel like drinking on cold days like we've been having, but remember that herbal teas (no caffeine) count toward water totals too -- and a lovely cup of hot tea on a cold day can really hit the spot! I could use one right now! (I'm going to wait though. I'm on my way to bed, and I don't feel like waking up a couple of hours from now to.....um.....you know -- dispose of the tea.) :o)
Other than glugging and trying to stay warm, I'm also going to be teaching a class tonight and paying bills. Wheeeeeeee! :o) Some days are just too chock full of excitement, you know?

Karen-I am finding it hard to stay hydrated on these cold days. I hadnt even thought of hot tea, thats a good idea. I hope your day goes well and you get all of your exciting things done.
As for me today, I am sicker than a dog but I still have to make my way to school. It sucks big time. We have no heat in our school and I think that is what is making me sick. I am so sick of being sick. I feel like I have been sick all winter. Well I graduate in 2 months and than hopefully I wont be sick again for a very long time.

Good morning buddies!
Nothing planned for today. We need diapers so we may have to run to Target, but that's about all that is planned for the day. I'll go to the gym tonight and that's about it for all my excitement for the day, LOL!
I hope you all stay warm. It is cold here too but we keep the heat at 74* in the house. Most days I am in shorts and a tank top, LOL. I have no problem drinking water when I am dressed like that and dreaming of warmer places.

I have not been feeling well for the past couple weeks and it's really getting old. It started with my body aching after the marathon (to be expected so I took some time off exercising), then I caught the flu and my body ached from that - with a fever and an on-going cough & congestion, now I'm just about over the flu and AF decided to visit and she is putting me through the wringer! I feel worse than usual for some reason - ugh!
Anyways, enough complaining. On a good note, I have been exercising again. I just really need to get my food in check! Todd & I will go to the gym again tonight, so yay! And I will try to avoid any after dinner snacking - it needs to stop!! I have decided to really start trying to eat all the food we have up, so the freezer and cupboards are finally seeing some space. But unfortunately that means I've been allowing too much food to be sitting around ready to be eaten. But that will slow down now that it's basically almost gone! Tomorrow I will be going grocery shopping and I am sticking ONLY to my list. Which means yogurts instead of ice cream - 100 cal packs instead of brownies/cake, and lots of fresh fruit and veg! Yay!
Ok, and as for glugging today. I have been doing really well with that still. I'm constantly thirsty so glugging comes naturally, I guess! Even though it is freezing outside - I'm thirsty!

Good morning.
I'm sitting right at 170 now, though I have to admit that this no school or work monday thing that happened really threw me off. I really do think today is wedensday. I have a add-on attached to my firefox, it's called leechblock, basically I am reducing my use of the majority of the sites I visit. :-( I have to though, with school and work, there really isn't enough hours in the day for me to lose track of time on the internet.
I am gluggging down water and green tea. I also am trying to avoid sweets and just eating healthy. I can't seem to make it to the dance class on wednesday, but I do make it to yoga, and I have been doing some at home stuff.
I am also pretty much living on campus, I leave at like 7:20 and don't get back till 8 or 11pm. It's crazy. I have to carry around three very heavy text books, either for class, for homework groups, or so I can do the homework for them at the library... they really need lockers on campus - that would be amazing!

Hey Buddy, sorry to hear you're feeling crappy. I was talking to my friend last night and she said Mother Nature gave her her monthly present, I said it aint no present lol. I dont knowhow anyone could call it that.
Sounds like you have a neat plan with the foods. I need to start doing that myself just so I can cut costs as well.

Thats funny cause we actually did have lockers at our school lol. GMC was majority commuters, and we had this one building that was supposed to be the commuter center. And it had lockers. Since I worked in an office I just left my stuff there *Shrugs*
