Good Day-After-Valentine's, Buddies!

Helloooooooo, Buddies!

I wasn't able to get in here yesterday - between all the time I spent out and Dan's constant use of the computer (grrr), I didn't even get to check my email until about 5 minutes ago!

Anyway - I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day.  We had so much fun meeting K for lunch.  I took her a little bag of goodies and a dozen ring-shaped treats (don't want to tempt anyone) for her friends.  We ended up spending the bulk of the afternoon together, and it was great.  Dan was so sweet.  He's very creative for Valentine's day - leaving little surprises around for me to find.  I love it.  The best one was a string of heart shaped lights around my vanity mirror.  Who needs flowers and diamonds when you can have heart shaped lights? LOL  (I love them!)

So, even though it's a day late, Happy Valentine's day!  I love you bunches, Buddies!  (I wish I could go around the board and put a George Clooney Valentine on each of your desks.  Now that's love!)

What are your plans for today?  I have to catch up on the board first, and then look through my email.  Then, I have to work on the taxes....ew.  Both girls need them done early, so they can use the info to apply for financial aid for college.  Yes, I'm so very close to being the mother of two college students....wow.  Tonight I'm looking forward to the start of The Amazing Race!  Also, I have to strap my walking shoes back on.  I missed yesterday entirely!

Have a wonderful day!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Oh I definitely agree on the moratorium on stress and stress-talk! That was part of the idea for us, too. We each told our favorite moments of the last year and we did NOT talk about school loans or me not having a permanent job or the probability of moving in six months or so. None of that was discussed - and it was nice! Perhaps we should do this more often!
