GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Weekend greetings, Buddies!  What are your plans for the day?  I'll be doing more car stuff - including returning the rental car.  It was stressing me out to pay for it, but I did enjoy being in a newish car - no rattles or cracks in the windshield or mystery noises when I pressed on the brakes....AND - electric windows and locks!  I love those things and I've never had them in a car.  I had so much fun playing with them.  ;o)  The car we're looking at right now doesn't have them, but it's really inexpensive, so I'll get over it.  Still, someday I want them!  :o)

Other than car stuff, we'll be going to see J's play tonight, and past that, I don't know.  It's been such a long week - collapsing seems like a pretty decent idea to me.

Have a wonderful Saturday, Everybuddy!  I hope you find lots of fun!

Good Morning!

That's great that you'll be getting some wheels!

It's DH's 40th bday today and he wants to see a band LATE tonight - don't know that I'll be accompanying him. Friends are also going so I'm volunteering to babysit so they all can go (not really my kind of music - loud and late...) We'll see. Our bicycles have been dying a slow death in the garage so I'm going to load them up in the car as a little bday surprise and we'll go to a bike shop and get them in riding condition. We both can use exercise, fresh air, and quality time together. He also likes sushi, which we never have, so I'll take him for sushi if he wants. I once was in a team building workshop at work and we had to form a team with people we didn't know and come up with something we all had in common. Our common thread was that none of us had ever tried sushi but we were all sure we didn't like it. So I am sucking it up today and putting on my game face for punk music and sushi! Ha! He is usually a good sport and he's always a good husband so I can do this for him!

I'm considering cutting back from 1600 calories to 1400 starting Monday. During the week it's pretty easy to keep at 1600 but the weight loss is slow and I go over 1600 on weekends. Maybe 1400 plus exercise will show better results.

Have a great day everybody!

With you in peace, punk, and raw fish,
Cindy
