I'm headed back to bed after some motrin and coffee -- I woke up with a sinus headache because of our marvelous weather -- but I wanted to say good morning and thank you all for your good wishes yesterday. J's graduation was held inside, and man-oh-man was it crowded. They absolutely had to be breaking some laws with the way they had us crammed in there. It didn't really rain all day, but it was sooooooooo gray (and you saw what they were predicting) so we decided to have the party inside too. It's a good thing we did. Dan fired up the grill, and the heavens opened with an enormous crack of thunder and the rains came - big time. I think the party went pretty well inside. It was crowded and a little warm, but it looked pretty because we hung balloons and Christmas lights all over the place and lit a bunch of candles. Jolie looked so pretty in her robe and cap. I can't believe my baby is out of high school. I don't think it really hit me until I got up this morning and realized that not only do we not have to drive her to school this morning, but (after 10 years) we'll never make that twice a day trip again. Wow!
Well, enough about me. How was your Thursday? Are you feeling good about Friday? Looking forward to the weekend? I'll be back later today after the motrin kicks in!
Happy Friday!

HI Karen! Glad to hear everything went well last night. Hope you feel better!
My thursday was okay. Today not much going on except taking care of Bill, he got a cold. Im hoping he feels a bit better by tonight because we didn't do laundry last night. And I can't do it tomorrow. But man is it humid! I felt so sticky this morning walking to the bus...ick!
Alright gotta get to work buddies!

Aw, Karen, big hugs! Obviously, not having children (yet) myself, I can't know how you feel, but I'm sentimental and I can imagine it! It sounds like even with the crummy weather, things went great with your party!
I hope your headache went away!
