GOOD TUESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!
| Tue, 06-16-2009 - 11:08am |
Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaappy Loseday! It's a lovely day for losing, don't you think? What do you plan to lose today, Buddies? I know what I need to lose -- I need to lose the permission slip I gave myself to enjoy all the graduation party goodies. It's time to get back on the ol' bus!
I don't have a lot of specific plans for today. I think we're going to go to the library at some point, but other than that, I'm not sure. Right now, I'm just happy enjoying the fact that we're all under the same roof. :o)
Have a wonderful Loseday, Buddies!

Awwwww, what a wonderful roof that must be!!!!!!!!!! ;) :)
Not much going on today buddies. I have to do some laundry and clean this house. It's amazing how fast this place gets destroyed. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see these two kiddos at work!
I am really struggling to stay on the wagon buddies, and I don't know why. I have every good intention, but still...sigh...I hit 200 pounds yesterday. It's a long road, but it starts with a single step, right? I really am trying...
Fighting my way back to me!

Enjoy your family all under one roof Karen.
This morning, I picked strawberries at a farm just down the road from us.

Aww, how nice it must be to have the whole family with you! I know my mom definitely gets excited with such rarities =)
I'm not quite sure what to lose today. Maybe the feeling of stress that has become a major part of my day! I dunno if that's the reason that the pounds are clinging, but something's gotta give! So I will try to relax and take it day by day for the next couple weeks. I really feel like I'm being pulled in twenty directions right now and it's not easy! I'm juggling long classes, longer studying times after class, dealing with last minute closing items for the house (we are set to close thursday - yippie!), moving, and also honestly trying to keep Todd calm throughout everything. He is quick to freak out with all this house stuff, so instead of making him deal with it, I take on everything...and it's really adding to an already overfull load right now. He's been testy the past couple days, too, and kinda hinting at the fact that I don't "work" all day, so ALL 100% of the tasks should be done by me rather than just the 80% I'm already doing. He hasn't gone so far as to say I should quit going to the gym every day yet, but I feel like it's headed there. Must be nice for him to go to work for 8 hours each day and literally have to deal with nothing before or after that except find and eat the food that's been prepared for you and shower/watch tv/sleep. Ugh.
He has had his redeeming moments the last few weeks, too - taking me for dinner, made ME dinner once, unsolicited cleaning once, too. But those aren't quite enough right now =/
Yes, I need to destress. Sorry for the rant! I have to go get in some more studying too before Todd gets home.
::sigh::
Hope your house is spic and span now, Dawn - if only for a few minutes before the kids get back into it =)
And it'll be a long hard road again, but I know if anyone can do this, it's you! Hang in there =)
I've always loved picking berries! Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries - never really mattered, they're all delicious! Our strawberries in the store this year are not nearly as good as last year, so I am even more jealous of your fresh ones - haha. (Our peaches are phenomenal though, I took a bite of one today and it squirted juice everywhere...yum yum yum!)
Hope the juggling show was fun. I'm intrigued by what exactly he's juggling ;)
Also, how hard is making jams - I've always thought that sounded fun to do, but I have never actually looked into how involved the process is.
Hi - sorry I haven't been around.

I believe you're trying, Dawn!

Mmmmm, fresh strawberries -- I can almost taste them.

No apologies necessary, (((Gretal)))!

Hmmm - mini hot flashes sound like fun....not.
