GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Good Walksday to you, Buddies!  My day is getting a slow start.  Dan has thrown his back out again....probably because he insists he's okay and does things he shouldn't before he's healed.  Sigh.  I slept on the couch so I wouldn't move the bed at all, and now my back and neck hurt. LOL  We're a mess, and I'm going to search the net for a good rest home after I finish posting.  ;o)

So, what are your plans for today?  Can you think of any opportunities to throw in some extra steps?

Have a wonderful Walksday!

Even though I missed posting yesterday I figured I'll still reply.

There is NO walking today, tomorrow or even through the weekend.

Oy! Decorating...it's getting there! Closing was done by noon. After lunch we went to the house, made a gigantic list, went to 3 different stores to find everything, then went back to the house to start making our changes. Got the upstairs bedroom mostly painted - just a tiny strip where the ceiling meets the wall not done - didn't have time to wait for the paint to dry on the ceiling to tape it off. But we'll do that tomorrow. We pick up the bedroom furniture tomorrow, so we wanted that room done pronto! After we finish the paint and get the bedroom furniture, and hang drapes, and whatnot, I'll post photos of the finished room! Yippee! As long as I have one completely finished room by tomorrow, I'll be happy!

Today Todd changed all the locks, put up some ceiling fans and light fixtures, and did a bunch of other randomness. We realized this is all definitely gonna take lots of time, so we need to not think it's gonna be "done" in even a month or so.

Oh, and it had to be an older home. Every newer house we looked at I talked Todd out of. There's something about the charm of an older home that has me hooked. Todd used to always want a completely new home - he very much loved the idea of a subdivision, too - but I think I rubbed off on him. I like homes with lots of "charm". However, it seems newer homes have better layouts...so we may eventually get one! HAHA!

Dan and I feel the same way about older homes.
