GOOD MONDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Goodness, I just have to get my schedule turned around.  I'm staying up too late, waking up too early, and then falling back to sleep and waking up too late.  It's just not good!

So, enough about that - how are you on this fine Monday, Buddies?  How was your weekend?  Mine was nice.  It was fun to see my family yesterday.  I wish we lived closer so we could see each other more often.  If I had my way, they'd all live in the same neighborhood with me.

It's a new week, and I'm finally back in a losing state of mind.  It took a while -- party goodies led me astray --  but I'm ready to get back to work.  The first thing I have to figure out how to do is get some groceries.  Dan's car isn't working, so he's taking mine to work.  K started her job today, so her car isn't available.  I'll figure out something though!

Happy Monday, Buddies!  Let's have a loser of a week!

No breezes here today, warm or cool.

Hi Buddies,

I'm back from my trip home. Had a good visit with my family and got to see a couple friends. Caught a cold just before heading home so was a little fuzzy headed getting back to work today. I didn't overdo it too badly while on "vacation" but wasn't in the zone, either. I didn't have any of my mom's bday cake, but we went out to eat a lot. I did quite a bit of walking, however, so got more exercise than I would have at home.

With my cold I'm feeling like I won't get back on track (meaning counting calories) until I feel better. What do you all do regarding dieting when you're under the weather? Thankfully, my cravings have been along the lines of fruit juice and soup, but frequently I crave bad stuff when I have a cold.

I look forward to catching up with everyone and joining in on the losing state of mind! Yesterday a friend thought I looked like I had lost weight and she said I looked great. Thing is, I'm sure I haven't lost anything; I was wearing a new pair of crop pants and they must fit better than my other clothes. On the one hand, it felt so good to hear that. On the other hand, it was like she was saying, jeepers, you've looked pretty bad lately. But I'm trying to imagine actually losing a noticeable amount of weight and getting nice comments from people - it's weird to think of that actually happening. After experiencing that yesterday, I wonder if it would make me feel a little bad, like the way I am now is not ok in other people's eyes. I think one of my relatives was very disappointed to see how big I've gotten (we hadn't seen each other in almost 5 years.)

Anyway, it's good to be back - I missed you! I'll get some reading done around here to catch up!

Ciao,
Cindy
