Whew! I thought I'd never get my turn at the puter!! Dan was working on design stuff since 6:30 this morning. He was not a happy boy. The computer wasn't happy either. The two of them have been locked in mortal combat all day. Finally, they seem to have called a cease-fire for a little while, so here I am!
Happy Thirstday! Have you been glugging? Running to the loo? Replacing the toilet paper roll? Cursing the size of your bladder? If you answered yes to 2 or more of these questions, congratulations -- you really know how to spend a Thirstday. ;o)
I want to take a second to thank all of you for all the support and love you've given me this week. I have some really good news about my sister. She got her test results, and she's cancer free!!! PTL!! With news like that, I almost feel guilty feeling sad about our kitty. I still do though. It's been a weird roller coaster of a week around here - crying one minute and whooping it up the next. My poor brain is all tuckered out. We're still waiting for news about the consolidation, and waiting is not my best thing. I'm trying not to stress, but my nerves have had just about enough after the last few years, so if you have any prayers for nerve endings lying around, I sure could use them. I hope I get to post more good news soon!
You all are the best. I really needed support and you've been wonderful.

Karen,
I'm so sorry I hadn't been around and didn't know what was going on with your sister and your kitty - all at once. It's so wonderful that your sister is okay. My heartfelt sympathy to you and your girls about your kitty. I've been there, too (most recently 2 summers ago) and it's difficult and sad. Focusing on the good memories more than anything was helpful to me. ((((BIG HUGS))))
My thoughts and prayers are with you,
Cindy
