GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Wow, what a week our buddies have had.  First there was Dawn's health scare.   (If you haven't had a chance to "sign" it, don't miss the card in the Buddy Talk section.)  From what I read on Facebook, Dawn may be out of the ICU by now -- and possibly even allowed to go home soon!

Our second piece of buddy news is that Gretal passed the bar exam!  (There's a congratulations down in the Buddy Talk section if you want to join the party!)  I've got to tell you that I never had a doubt that you would pass, Gretal.  Bravo!

And now, on to the regular buddy business:  Happy Weekend!  What are your plans for the day?  I have all kinds of catching up to do today - bills, cleaning, emails (-if the computer will cooperate!  For some reason, I now have internet, but I can't get the computer to send email.  Oy.)

What are your plans for this weekend, Buddies?  Enjoy!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Good evening everyone as it is almost 6pm here in Ohio.

Had a nice day with lunch out with hubby, got a tasty crunchy salad that I loved.

Hey Karen! Your Saturday sounds pretty busy with all the catching up, hope you found some time for fun, too! Thanks again for the congrats, I'm pretty stoked about passing. Studying for two months straight wasn't fun and I'm so glad I NEVER have to do it again!!

Today I had the unfortunate experience of stepping on the scale. I had been putting it off for a while, not wanting to get discouraged. I don't know what I was thinking! When I don't weigh in, I don't REMEMBER the terrible impact my poor choices are having on my health. I like the scale to remind me of that. I have a bad week, I *see* it in the numbers going up. And then I realize I can't eat and eat and eat without any consequences. So now I'm up at my highest in quite a bit - 177 - and I am not the least bit proud, and quite a bit ashamed of myself.

So I enjoyed today, but tomorrow starts me getting serious. I need to get my butt back to the gym and I need to make better food choices. This can't go on!!! Ugh. I hate that I do this to myself! But it will change!! Mark my words ;)

(((Gretal))) -

You know I can see myself gaining weight while I was waiting for the bar exam results.
