GOOD SATURDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Wow, what a week our buddies have had.  First there was Dawn's health scare.   (If you haven't had a chance to "sign" it, don't miss the card in the Buddy Talk section.)  From what I read on Facebook, Dawn may be out of the ICU by now -- and possibly even allowed to go home soon!

Our second piece of buddy news is that Gretal passed the bar exam!  (There's a congratulations down in the Buddy Talk section if you want to join the party!)  I've got to tell you that I never had a doubt that you would pass, Gretal.  Bravo!

And now, on to the regular buddy business:  Happy Weekend!  What are your plans for the day?  I have all kinds of catching up to do today - bills, cleaning, emails (-if the computer will cooperate!  For some reason, I now have internet, but I can't get the computer to send email.  Oy.)

What are your plans for this weekend, Buddies?  Enjoy!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Mary, that puts us right around the same weight! Let's do this together!! I'm all about the help/support =)

I want to lose about 20 over all (to 155), but really I'll be happy at getting to 160-165. Let's go!!!

Haha, Karen, you crack me up! But you're right, while studying I was so STRESSED out that I didn't eat. Plus I didn't have much time to do anything BUT study, so I kept losing weight cause I wasn't eating!! But afterward, there was just nothing for me to do but sit and wait. And especially more recently, I kept needing something to do to pass the time. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE to cook, so that always gave me something to get my mind off the impending results. But I'm over that and I have no more excuses! Phew!!

And you're right, autumn is hard on diets - Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc. Plus we also have birthdays, etc. And additionally, I love to start making heartier meals for the cooler weather. Creamy soups, casseroles, etc.

But I am so excited about the holiday challenge!! YAY!! I can't wait!! I really need it right now.
