HAPPY MONDAY! I'm throwing a welcome to the beginning of the week party! What do you think about that?

I am getting back to really counting calories today and being back on board with losing. I went for a nice long walk yesterday and intend to do it again today!! So what is everyone else's plan for the day? How are you planning on making this week a losing one?!?

Glad you started today's thread. I am back on the treadmill early in the morning. I realized I was putting off walking, just waiting for it to warm up/stop raining, etc. Then, by that time I was busy with something else. By limiting my computer time, I was able to get in 30 minutes while watching AM news shows, had breakfast & was dressed for the day by 10:00. May sound late, but since I retired I refuse to set the alarm - LOL.

I discovered a thin crust pizza from local Meijer store (their brand). The spinach mozzarella version has 210 cals/ for 1/3 of the pie. Made one that will be my lunch for the next 2 days. Very tasty - DH really liked the sausage/ham version. Supper will be baked chicken thighs - I make enough for leftover that can be mixed with brown rice & veggies for a healthy soup.

Spinach mozzarella - that sounds right up my alley!

I think limiting computer time is a great idea! And it's already paying off with more time to exercise. I felt glued to the comp all day today. But I was just looking for jobs the whole time. Then after I found a ton of them, I made a bunch of cover letters, filled out applications, and got that stuff out the door!

Now my eyes are hurting from all the computer time, so I'm responding to posts and then getting outta here =)

I'm glad you found something that is working for you with the timer! Hope you have a great week!!

Eating less will make this a loser week!! I know sometimes when things get too stressful and time consuming - like the weeks when I'd be studying for finals, finishing projects, and still working, I'd be so stressed/tired/burnt out that I couldn't even think about doing anything but sleep when I got an extra minute. But as long as I watched my food, I'd always be okay in the end. Of course, that's way easier said than done!

But I think you can do it! Try journaling if you think it might help =) And I hope you get a chance for a nice long sit so you can recoup!!

Again? That darn internet! Seems like once it gets the idea in its head that it can act up, well it just goes and does it all the time!!

Do you use high speed internet? Have you tried calling the company? A few years ago we were having LOTS of trouble with ours, too, but turned out it was our router, not the company.

Well I just hope it gets worked out soon! But in the meantime, we'll just camp out here and wait for ya!
