Morning
MARY Loving Mom and Wife
Hey buddies, happy friday the 13th!!
I was having a rough day to begin with. Started a project that we've been putting off for a few months and couldn't finish it. Only I realized I wouldn't be able to fix it after AN HOUR of trying. So I started another project and the same thing happened. So at 11am or so, I just gave up. I decided to start making the calls I needed to make when I did, I found out that an application process I've been working on the past 4 months has not moved forward at all in the past few weeks, which puts me back a bit and means I might miss my deadline. Oy. I was just bummed really bad.
So I decided to take a run and puppy and I went out and had a great time. It was great. I came back feeling much better. And then things *kinda* got worked out with the application, so really things didn't end too badly.
Now I just need to get motivated again to start cleaning up the house. My dad will be here on Monday and I want this place to be clean. People think I'm nuts, because my house is always neat and organized, I just like to clean everything as well. So I have to scrub scrub scrub! I'm neurotic about it!
Anyway I gotta get moving, hope everyone has a great day!!
I planned all wrong for today.
Live & learn.
We are having our house re-roofed (tornado damage from 2 wks ago).
Talk about NOISY!!!
I should have planned to be out of the house today.
What was I thinking?
Believe it or not, our connection today was actually slower than when we had dial up, and that was so painfully slow that I would get hives waiting for pages to load.
<
Gretal, I'm so proud of you!
<
I'm sorry about the tornado damage and the noise, Deb.
<
I'd love to read those, Ruth.
<
HI everyone, Josie joining in late, again.
Ruth:
LOL - Well, I'm happy that you've decided to keep your husband.
