Hi buddies, I hope it is OK that I started this thread today.
How is everyone doing?
Share your good news and not so good news too.
hugs, Josie

HI again.
Morning Josie-
After 2 days of holiday meals and spending time with family, we are getting back to our normal routine.
MARY Loving Mom and Wife
After all the feasting, the scale is up only 1.5 lbs today, so that is motivating me to head to Curves mid-morning. Our local site is closed, but they gave me a pass for the one across town. Weather here is also warm, so I'll go for a walk after lunch. I've learned not to wait too late in the afternoon, because temps really drop when sun starts going down.
Last evening DH & finished the homemade apple pie I made with Stevia - it was super. Done eating stuffing, but always like turkey with stir fry veggies on brown rice. I'm so grateful for microwaves. I think I'll turn the extra apples into an apple/celery salad for snacking. I put in a dab of chunky peanut butter with fat-free dressing to give the salad a carmel apple flavor.

I enjoyed cooking dinner on Thursday for the family. I was up at 4:30 a.m. and had all the sides ready to go and pies done; Turkey in the oven by 7:30 am. We ate the earliest ever; 11:30 a.m. - noonish. We generally eat around 2 p.m. I take great pleasure and watch my family partake of all the great food.
Over the past few days, DH and I have been clearing/cleaning out our bedroom. We bought a new bedroom set (anniversary, Christmas, birthday gift). They deliver it on 12/2 on Wednesday this week. What a job? I've got to sort through so many things before moving it back in. I've already packed up two boxes of books to give away and three bags of sheets, clothes, etc. to charity. That is just the tip of the iceburg. Truthfully, I'd like to just rent a dumpster and just start pitching. LOL We do have a truck coming from a local rescue mission to take the old set as a donation.
It was interesting to hear about all of your posts. I liked the idea of the apple, celery salad and hearing about Wisconsin. Our family lived in Algoma for awhile back in 1998. We loved it there and ask ourselves why did we ever move away. Hindsight is always 20/20.
Enjoy your day. :) Loretta
