Well, I've just about finished my wrapping....I really have to learn to do that earlier....and before I turn off the computer and go to bed for a few hours, I want to take a moment to wish all of you the best, most joyful, super-merry Christmas ever!

(((((HUGS))))) - Karen

P.S.  I'll be taking off for my parents' house this afternoon, so I may be a little scarce for the next few days, but if I can get my hands on a computer, I'll check in to hear about your holidays!

Merry Christmas Karen and all my other buddies.

I slept well, for me; so that is always a blessing.

Will putter on this, do some yoga, have breakfast, crawl back into bed with hubby - who is my best gift ever.

Probably around 9:30-10am start the nonstop fixing the ham and simple fixins for lunch, finish cleaning the house as my brother in law will be here at 11:30, knowing him, he might stay until 5pm or later as we are his main family.

Good morning to all. We had our big gathering at DSs last evening, so all the cooking is over. It was good to be together once more, as DGrS will probably be in Afghanistan next holiday and his family will be in KY. Also, youngest DS has decided to keep 12/24 & 12/25 for church activities, so he will most likely no longer join us. Times change, aging parents are expected to adjust & smile.

Our DGrD is having open house later today and I'll run out for a visit. DS will stay home because he despises here DM (our exDIL). His loss - I'll get to eat good food. OF course, DH brought home some baked ham from DSs dinner, so will happily munch on sandwiches anyway.

I did pretty well at the buffet, skipped a lot of foods. Used the old mantra "I've tasted that before" and it got me by the mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, chocolate silk pie, etc. Biggest splurge was a piece of apple pie I brought home for late night snack - something I try to avoid. DH & watched It's a Wonderful Life until we couldn't keep our eyes open. No snow here, rain has stopped and sun is shining.
