I'm just popping in for a quick good morning. I've got a sinus headache and a half, so I'm going to go eat/take medicine/drink coffee etc. and then come back for some more posting after that.
I'm excited to be starting a new week - how about you?
Man, I am so jealous of you watching movies while on the treadmill. My elliptical is in the garage since we moved. And I do NOT use it out there. Todd has offered to bring it to the guest bedroom, but I really like having a dedicated guest bedroom - lol! So out in the garage unused it sits. We're thinking about finishing the basement with our tax refund this year, which means the elliptical is moving in there...right near the giant tv - woot!
If I ever had excuses not to go to Curves, I had them today. My car (with my exercise shoes inside) was towed to the repair shop before 9 AM, leaving us with DSs old station wagon. It has 2 storm doors in boxes in the rear so almost impossible to see out the back. Temp was 5 degrees at 10 AM. BUT - I bundled up, drove carefully and did my workout before lunch. I realized I was aching all over from NOT using my muscles, so forced myself out the door. Had a different, good kind, of ache after I was done. Was so much more energetic the rest of the day.
- the Curves location is only a mile away. It has an added advantage of meeting other women there. Never enjoyed regular gyms with buff guys and loud TV/Music going on. I've traded my regular massages for the cost of the monthly membership ($34). The workouts make my back feel better now.
- I'm retired. I never could fit working out into my office schedule - sweat too much. Always was amazed at the gals in office wear who changed shoes & walked in all kinds of weather over their lunch hours.
- I have someone to shovel the walk & drive for me. If I was alone, I'd probably be in until March.
I, too, am inspired by your perseverance. I find if I get myself going and exercise early enough, I feel better, and I don't have that feel guilty feeling for not exercising. I HATE that feel guilty feeling with a passion. I don't mind shoveling. My Dh won't let me shovel; he gets quite angry if I do. What gives, I'm a northern girl who was born with a shovel in her hand. LOL

Glad I can inspire someone. I am fortunate that -
