Early morning greetings, Buddies! Living with college students gives me the strangest hours. I'm still up, so I thought I'd go ahead and wish you all a happy Walksday! I'm hoping to get out of here bright and early to get those razzin frazzin groceries that have been eluding me for nearly a week. I'm determined to buy a bunch of lovely healthy foods to get me back on track.
Soooooo, it's Walksday, and you know what that means! We have to find places to add steps to our day. I know I'll get a bunch in the grocery store and carrying in all the groceries, but I'm going to try to carve out some extra walking time later in the day as well. Where are you going to look for steps?
I'll be posting the Biggest Loser dish post in a few minutes. If you watched, come on down to the fun folder and share your thoughts if you've got a minute!
Have a walkerful, wonderful day!

Little late saying good morning, but figured I'd pop in. Been busy relaying messages about the quake in Haiti. Our DS goes on an annual trip to build a school there, so has many friends. At this stage, the best thing people can do is donate to established big time organizations, like the Red Cross. The fear of giving their govt. cash is that it never gets to the populace.
I decided to switch my Curves days to Tues/Thurs/Sat. As those days are already broken up with tutoring at mid day & errands afterwards, this will give me full days at home. I actually caught up with filing, installed new tax software and worked on a quilt project.
I made a big batch of Scottish oats in the crockpot. Having it ready to reheat & eat quickly keeps me from straying into dangerous territory in the breakfast search. I add whey powder and sliced almonds to make it very filling.

You go, girl!

I don't think you sound crabby, just telling it like it is.

Yes, I am doing very well. I am having an issue right now though that is scary. Sometimes when I stand up and walk, from a sitting position, I get this wave of weakness that comes over me, almost breath-taking, and I have to hold on to something for fear of falling or passing out. Not sure why I'm having this, I should talk to my doctor and find out. It seems like it has something to do with my blood pressure, maybe dropping when I stand...I don't know??? The disease is sore rare, it's almost impossible to find information.
