GOOD THURSDAY MORNING, BUDDIES!

Did you wake up thinking about water today?  Did you look around to see if the water fairy had left a bottle for you overnight?  Have you already glugged several ounces of H2O today?  If so, you must know what today is --- --- it's THIRSTDAY!!!  (For our new buddies, we celebrate Thirstday Thursdays by paying special attention to our water consumption.)  Got water?

So, other than glugging and unglugging and glugging and unglugging, what are your plans for the day, Buddies?  I'm going shopping with K and J -- I need binders and other school supplies plus I need a pair of shoes because the ones I usually wear to teach in self-distructed last month.  (I told you I walk a lot when I teach! LOL)

Have a hydratey Thirstday, Buddies!

((((HUGS)))) - Karen

Thanks for the reminder. I need to refill my big bottle in the fridge. I add powdered lime to it, because our local water smells too strong for me.

Our water starts out sort of undrinkable, but we filter it twice, and that helps a lot.

I did manage to get here while it is still morning! =) I didn't get out for my walk before 8 but it was 8:15, I'm pretty happy about that. The temps are to be above 40 today and tomorrow. The sun was shining so bright that I might have to wear sunglasses tomorrow. I just finished filing papers and finishing up on bill pay online. We live on a monthly budget; so I try to pay everything and then whatever is left - make it last until next month.

I did buy some more dark chocolate SF pudding last night. I didn't have any because I opted for the 1/2 of a slice of pizza as my bedtime snack.

I pretty much have all my chores done for the day; so just may curl up and have myself a little nappy time this afternoon. oh yeah, and drink lots of water - ;)

Hiya Buddies!

Suprisingly lately I've been really good with water. I do coffee and or juice in the morning, but for the rest of the day its water. For some odd reason I just haven't thought of getting soda for home, and the drinks we do have are crystal light tea and juice (which i really dont like) so its been water. Which is great! Im rather proud of myself.

Now for my bad news,...I was forced to eat cheesecake today (ROFL). I helped out one of our managers yesterday and she brought in cheesecake for me. I've only had one slice but unfortunately that slice was 500 calories. I feel so guilty....but oh my was it worth it.

I defintely need to work on my dieting right now. With the holidays over the candy is running out which is good because not only should I not have it, my teeth don't need it and my skin is not happy with all this chocolate. So...time to strap the belt down with my foods. But all the candy is pretty much gone, and all of us are afraid of opening the brownies in the fridge so Im not touching those.

Have a great glugfest everyone I know I am!

Good Afternoon Karen and Buddies-

I have been glugging water since 12:01 am, because I worked last night and with all the machine problems, I really had to work hard, and I had my trusty water bottle at my side.

Hey buddies, I had a good thirstday. Got in several big glasses of water. I've been drinking a lot of water at work because I constantly feel thirsty. The only downfall is that it's freezing(!) in my office! We can't get it warm for anything - I'm thinking about bringing in a space heater so I don't have to wear my winter coat all day anymore! Every other office is nice and warm but I freeze. Le sigh. Anyway, the water makes me colder still, but I don't care, gotta have it!

We did get into the mid-30s here today! WOOT! And I kid you not, for about 2 hours I swear the sun was shining in on us! I even postponed my lunch and opened the blinds to enjoy it!

And tonight I stopped and bought lots of groceries! Does anyone have an Aldi near them? I'm in love with that store! I bought 4 pounds of bananas, a cantaloupe, a bag of apples and a head of broccoli for about $3.80. This was actually the first time I spent over $35 for the week's groceries (spent about $45- which is ALL our food for the week and we only eat out one meal) but I really stocked us up on everything. I love having so much fruit/veg/healthy snacks in the house!!

I did get some water in but not as much as I wanted......Today was all about staying awake on all the cold meds I have been taking.
