wow, i haven't been here in ages, a year or so! i recognise a few of you, and i hope you are doing well. So much has changed, sooo much for me. I'm not the same drunk, drugged up wild, depressed, suicdal, starving kid anymore. I moved to a new city and started a Bachelor of Nursing Degree, only 1 more month to go, and i'm doing really well. I changed councellors when i came down, but honestly, the woman was crazy herself, it was such a good kick in the butt though, made me realise how much i didn't want to spend the rest of my life thinking and talking about myself, and how i'd been there- all the crazy stuff, and it's time to grow up. But of course it wasn't as simple as that, but i have changed. Just hanging out and caring for people in the hospital, i've learnt so much about life. I'm pretty stressed at the moment, my weight is o.k, losing though..i'm still eating but i think it's the stress and i haven't been feeling well. Anyway,i should go, i have 2 60% assignments due on Tuesday arghhhhh!! Keep safe, and alive..float through it.

Hi Jade,
It sure is great to hear from you and that you are doing so well. I can't believe it's been a year already since you last posted. Time does fly, doesn't it.
Helping others is a great way to 'get out of yourself' so to speak. I used to volunteer at a nursing home and did other volunteer work and it was always rewarding. Now you are making a career out of helping others - I think that's awesome. Pluse nurses are always needed, even now while the economy is bad.
I hope you will be around and check in every so often.
