Hello everyone Im new here!
Im 18 and im recovering from anorexia for a yr now. The problem is that whenver I get up from sitting or bed my vision dimms for a few seconds to sometimes a few minutes. It happens everyday and I hate it because it feels like I'm going blind. I dont understand why i'm getting this becuase im eating healthy and I don't skip meals. I also feel tired and sleepy sometimes.
ANother problem that I have is that big belly thing. Is it normal?? Whenever I eat something it bloats really bad. Usually after things like a fruit salad, oatmeal or even pancakes. Could it be slowed digestion? I know Im not seeing things because my mom sees it too. SOmetimes I get pain in my tummy but if I decide to eat rolled oats with skim milk for dinner at 5:00 then I feel full for a long time until the next morning! Is that normal too? At night I feel heavy and sometimes hot too. I know I have listed a lot fo thing sbut Im hoping someone out there might have a clue!

Hi giselebunchen,
Nice to have you hear and congratulations on your recovery. The symptoms you are describing could be from being anorexic in the past, but they could also be totally unrelated. I have the swollen belly (5 inches more than regular size) too when I eat and it's very frustrating. However, mine seems to be unrelated to my ED becuase about a year ago I did not have this problem. I had a lot of other health issues last year and I am currently trying to figure out why this is happening.
Maybe you should go see
Love & hugs, Kristina
