The colours of my life

The years have passed- many colours I have been,

Fighting the issues, some never seen,

They've torn me up, they've taken my life,

Stolen my thoughts,twisted the knife.

White I once was, pure and renewed,

Slowly it turned, blue was my mood,

Fighting the pain that left me so dry,

Prevaricator thats me-living one mighty lie.

Black I have been, darkened by sin,

Put in my head saying I'm not really thin,

Red I then turned from the blood boiling inside,

Then there was my life, about to subside.

Right at the moment, I am working from grey

To lighten the shade by walking the right way

Ignoring the thoughts and forgetting time lost,

To change my direction, erasing roads crossed.

Though my status is a dark shade of grey,

I'm working so hard and to God I pray,

He will wash me whiter than snow,

Not make me slide but help me to grow.

Being white is the best= to be clean and free,

With the glory from God, the devil I flee,

No longer tempted by the thoughts in my head,

but living for God, his love I will spread.

hugs to ya'll
