I understand that with anorexia you're metabolism slows down. But the info I've been finding on the net has almost made me believe that you're body will hold on to every single little calorie and store it for fat. Won't excersize still burn calories effectively. I am concerned because I have been eating only 100-300 calories a day. I used to eat a normal meal every two weeks but I haven't done that in about three weeks. I would love to be able to eat a meal that consists of 1500 calories maybe once a month. Can I do this and still maintain the weight I am at just as long as I excersize and keep my calorie intake really low the other days.

Welcome to the board! The CL is gone on vacation right now... I am by no means any type of expert on ED, but 100-300 calories a day is not enough to sustain your body... I'm sure you already know this. Anyway... I'm just offering my ear if you need to talk and let you know I'm sorry you're dealing with this. Are you in any sort of therapy for your ED?
