After coming off a low carb diet, i went crazy. My son loves Krispy Kremes, and today was the last day of school, and if you get all A's on your report card, they give you a doughnut for each A.
Well between the two of us, we ate 4, which is about 1500 calories. That was around lunch, then, when I carb crashed, I went home and ate like so many pieces of bread with garlic, and olive oil. It tasted to so good, but then, I realized, I would be probably be 10 pounds heavier by morning, so I could not resist the urge to purge.
I was not successful at all, and by no means, did not throw up all the bread. Maybe one slice, but I did notice blood. WTF?????? What does this mean?
I just feel like crap. I started working out, and I run every morning. When I started to do this, sticking to the low carb diet was IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! But I went over board. It is true what they say, about eating carbs, crashing, and then wanting MORE carbs.
And my binging did not work either. which I guess that is good, I learned my lesson.

Hi sediqua,
I am not sure what that means but I would go see a doctor and tell him/her exactly what happened. It could be some internal bleeding or you could have just damamged something while trying to throw up.
I would also try to work on your ED issues. There is a reason this happened and it seems that what ever led up to your ED is not yet resolved.

I am glad you overcame it in college and hope that you will overcome this little setback as well. I just wanted to know how you overcame it in college. The reason I ask is because I have a sister who is straight out of high school and entering into college this fall and she has become bulimic. She is in the initial stages but it is a big enough problem becuase she is at the point where she feels she can't help it. I am completely ill equiped for this and am almost desperate to find out how, aside from encouraging her and helping her develop better eating habits, I can get her the help she needs before it becomes an even bigger problem. Your input and advice would be greatly appreciated.
