Hi All,
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I am having sort of a bad day emotionally and physically. When that happens food can become an issue for me so I thought I would one, post it here, and two, set some goals for tonight. Goal setting in general helps me and doing so here or with another accountability partner makes it easier to stick to them. So here they are:
Ø Eat my afternoon snack (which I brought) here at work and nothing else
Ø When I come home, prepare dinner and sit down and eat it rather than eating while standing in the kitchen (one of my bad habits)
Ø Do a load of laundry
Ø Work through the next chapter in the book I am reading right now (Calm My Anxious Heart) – journaling answers to the questions at the end of the chapter will help me with the stuff that is going on right now
Ø Go to bed NLT 9 PM because I have to be up early tomorrow
I will check in some time tomorrow to let you all know how I did. For those of you who believe in God, please say a prayer for me if you could.
Love & hugs, Kristina
The opinions I have expressed here are from my own experience and are not intended as medical advice or to take the place of your own physician's advice.

Did your day and evening go as planned? I hope so (o: Let us know how you are doing today.

It went fine actually…thanks for asking.

I really hope that you feel better. Please keep me posted on how you are doing.

my goals:
1. avoid purging and cutting. my alternate activities include a knitting project i've just started (and a backup project ready in case i get bored with it), practicing my guitar, i've got several books i can read, plus i can do my thought-monitoring worksheets or just write in my anxiety log. i tend to have that purge "need" really quickly and i always feel trapped, like i'm locked in and have to do it...my plan for that feeling is get out of the apartment as soon as i feel it and walk somewhere (i can go to the apartment pool, or across the street to the park).
2. call my best friend and thank her for intervening in april and trying to help me with my eating problems.
3. eat dinner every night.
Those sound like awesome goals. It sounds like you are doing really well. You can also post a message here or email me if you feel like it. kotabuddy@yahoo.com
