Hi all
I am recovered anorexic. I spent significant time hospitalized off and on from 16 to 19 years old. I am here to offere advice and support where ever needed. I have been looking for a place to pass on all the care and support I was lucky enough to receive when I was at my worst. I am here because I care. Please feel free to ask advice: aim - rexy211

Hi Alexis,
Welcome to the board and thank you for offering to help. Any advice you can give will be much appreciated. Sometimes the board is really slow and other times there are tons of posts and I can't get to them for 1 or 2 days. So when ever you want to jump in and share your experience, that would be great.
Do you feel comfortable sharing more about your own recovery, how old you are now, how you stay in recovery, etc?
Love & hugs, Kristina
The opinions I have expressed here are from my own experience and are not intended as medical advice or to take the place of your own physician's advice.

I do nothing to stay in recovery other than surround myself with great friends and family Also, having a desire to live - there is just SO much to do in this life! I took anti-depressants for years, but am now off them and stable. I also saw a therapist for 2 years after I was released from the hospital. I went through an intensive recovery process which I hold very close. I am now stable, healthy, and most importantly happy.
Love
Alexis
