Midnight snacks?

Hello, my name is Jennifer and recently I had a mini relapse and am trying to recover. I'm eating alot more than I was (over 2,200 cals a day). My problem is, at dinner I cannot tell if I want more to eat or not. I feel full, but three hours later at my bedtime I start thinking how nice it would be to have that cookie in the kitchen. I know I should eat when I'm hungry but I'm scared that whatever I eat right before my bed time will "stick" to me and I will gain weight. And I'm scared I won't be hungry for breakfast tomorrow so my whole day with eating will be screwed up. Sometimes when I was hungry at night time, I couldn't even get to sleep. It seems the more I eat at dinner the hungrier I am when I go to sleep. Should I have a midnight snack or just wait till morning? Does anybody on here have midnight snacks and if you do did you gain any weight from it?

Thank you for reading this!

Hi Jennifer and welcome --

I think you should put a snack into your eating plan for that time of day.

Thank you for your post! I admit, i was freaking out big time but now I feel better =). I my preiod is at least a week and a half away so could it still be that? I have been craving chocolate more often...I'm drinking hot chocolate right now!

But should I just keep doing what I'm doing with eating? Will I still gain weight if I keep this up?

Thank you for your post. =)

As for getting help, my mother say it's a bad idea. Asking my doctor is no good either because II don't like him much because you can't talk to him. I have been doing okay with fighting this ED, I just need to find out how many calories I should be eating. And the calculators that should help me find out that sort of thing don't work for me because I find I'm always way hungrier than the calories mentioned.

I weighed myself again this morning and it said I gained another pound and a half =(. It's really hard for me to consider this "normal" but I suppose it is, right?

Thank you guys again!
