I'm in trouble! I have bulimia. I have a disease called celiac and IBS-C (due to laxative abuse - that's how I purge.) Both these diseases cause me to have to pay special attention to my food over and above the "normal" for bulimia. (Celiac is an auto-immune disease that causes you to react to Gluten in food so I can have no wheat, Rye, Barley, and Oats products) My problem is I've started restricting my food intake again and can't seem to change the behavior. This usually leads back to laxative abuse for me and I'm scared to death. I have to take a prescription laxative for my IBS. I've been able to stay on my prescribed dose but, feel like I'm wavering. I feel like I'm standing in front of a loaded gun and have my finger on the trigger. I've been to this board three times to day and didn't post. I got on the doc's scale yesterday and about died because it said 143 lbs. It's seems obese to me. I have been bingeing if I'm honest though without purging. I just moved from Utah to South Texas. The availability of tdoc's down here is lacking. I have a name. I have to call my insurance in the morning to see if she on my list of preferred providers and if not who is.
Thanks for letting me rant. Support and encouragement or even suggestions would be welcome.

Hi Jamie,
I know what you are going through is hard and coming here is a great step. You will definitely get support and encouragement here. I also think that trying to find a tdoc is the best thing you can do for the bulimia. I hope the one you have to call will work out for you.
Have you considered looking at www.mercola.com and reading more about the IBS? I myself have food intolerances (wheat is one of them) so I know what it's like when you HAVE to restrict certain foods. I was also told by many doctors that I have IBS but that was a false diagnosis.
I hope you will keep coming back. Please let us know how that phone call turns out today.
Love & hugs, Kristina

Hi Jamie and welcome!
Don't give up if that name doesn't work out -- there has to be someone you can see.
