...the holidays?   For a Question of the Week:

Is it a good time, full of family and friends?

Is it a lonely time, when you feel more alone than ever?

Are you full of gratitude this time of year?

Do you feel like "Bah, Humbug" ever?

Do you enjoy the busy-ness of the season?

Would you rather it all go away?

Do you have good memories of past holidays?

Do you feel bitter about past Christmasses?

Do you see a holiday as just another day?  (For some this is the best policy)

All answers are welcomed.

Usually I enjoy Christmas, but this year it seems to be filled with anxiety. In the last year the family dynamics on my side of the family have changed considerably, so that makes me feel a bit uncomfortable going back to my hometown and actually dread one gathering in particular. On my husband's side, I get anxious because his family members aren't the healthiest eaters, so I feel out of control over the foods served. At least with his family, we're celebrating here locally, so I can follow my normal routines that keep me comfortable. So, I do appreciate family time and I love the Christmas music, but I am not the cheeriest about the holidays this year.

I had a dream last night that my entire family showed up here.
