lindsey lohan had just admitted that she is suffering from bulimia, and the other day i saw her on a cover of some hollywood fashion magazine, she was voted best makeover of 2005. now i feel that its ok to have an eating disorder just as long as you look great, thats the message they are sending espeacilly to young girls.just because an actress looks sickingly skinny they praise her but someone like britney spears, who just had a baby, is being made fun of because now she is a little chubby. she just had a baby you can expect someone to lose weight right away after child birth it's just not healthy. i am not hating on lindsey, i suffered from anorexia when i was 15, but someone with bulimia should not be encourage to continue what they are doing. just cause she looks thin doesn't mean its ok to accept eating disorders as good thing.

Hi,

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately the media is quite a contributor to the rising rate of people with EDs. I try not to read too much about stars and have stopped buying fashion and other magazines that portray skinny actors, models, and performers. It may seem extreme, but looking at pictures of skinny actresses does nothing for recovery.
