In response to my last post, Im having a hard time finding the right foods for me. Has anyone else had experience with easing into eating bigger meals? Do they remember how they gradually eased in to the process? I want to do it right and comfortably, because I dont have much support around me. Thanks so much for your help.

What does your current typical meal plan look like? What about just adding more of the foods you eat right now?

I try to think in terms of food as fuel for my body.

You've really gotten some good advice and insight. See what foods you do like and you can eat, and instead of eating three big meals, eat smaller meals five times a day. It's something that the dietician taught me last year when we had to be very careful about my sister-in-law's diet post-stroke. For my SIL it was three meals and two snacks (a fruit in the morning, a small sandwich at around 3.30 pm). You can easily adapt this to your own needs, adding your calorie intake gradually.
