I'm think of trying to become a CL, but I don't know if I've been posting here long enough. Wondering if anyone remembers when I began posting here?~*Anna

Delurking because I know the answer to this one ~ you started posting the week I was here helping Diana out, and it was March 6th.

How are you doing? Have you finished your program yet?

I'm done with my program. I'm doing okay though I have days like today when I am restricting and having a hard time. Though over all I've grown and changed the way I need to so that I will be okay.~*Anna

Hi Anna,

Healing is a life long venture. At one point it blurs with the way we are/live and it becomes part of our growing as a person.

A lot of times people forget to take it one day at a time. They forget that life is lived and enjoyed one day at a time, that we can't get to a bright tomorrow if we haven't crossed the bridge today.

I just watched a program on eating disorders and it said that it takes 7 years to recover! Keep on pushing forward.

Yes, of course you may :-)

Diana, I also guess that 7 years is an average, but does it really matter if it takes 7 years or 10 or 15? Healing is something that we ought to only do at a pace that is comfortable to us.

My SIL had a debilitating aneurysms/stroke last year. We are very lucky that she's alive. Nearly one year later, there is still a very long way to go. There are times I envy other patients who have been able to more or less go back to their old lives fairly quickly. But then I realize that we've already been presented with a huge miracle: the fact that she's alive and that she still retains a huge portion of her memory. In light of that, we have all the time we need for her to help her get better again, and in the meantime, we

Hi Anna, I finally found where you were asking about being a cl.

The time requirement is that you be posting for "several weeks," and you have been doing that.
