I can realte to how you feel..
I am going away next week for thanksgiving and I will be unable to wrok out and do other things while I am there, so I am trying to diet I guess you can say that way I wont have to worry abot the missed work outs.
As you know eating disorders are a control thing and when we go away we feel out of control..and I am sure you look great and try to not worry about what others will think of you while you are away...
Do some affermations, I know that they work wonders for people maybe they will work for you also.
sorry I cant give more insight I am going on just about zero sleep..will try again later.
Just wanted you to know that you were not alone in how you feel.

If you have lost so much weight since you last saw them, nobody's going to think that you're fat.

Deep breaths. Remember these social situations are not about food, they're about people. Eat what you want, have something special you can't normally have, but when you feel the anxiety rolling in and are about to eat the entire universe, take a deep breath, take a walk, call a friend from home or some one who is not a family member or get engaged in conversation, maybe a game or play some kind of sport... shoot hoops in the driveway, play some touch football, just doing some yoga stretches and meditating has helped me gain control and feel peace. Let yourself feel whtever emotion is wreaking havoc on you... listen to some good music, take a bath, take care of yourself. This is nothing you can't handle! Believe in yourself and you inner-strengths and when you feel like you're going to totally lose it, just remember you are learning to love yourself (oh GOD I sound like Whitney Houston;) and that isn't easy but as the saying goes, nothing worth doing ever is.
