What has been the worst moment for you been thus far in dealing with your ED?

Your lowest weight?
The least number of calories you were consuming?
The most amount of times you were vomiting in a day?

How and when did you realize you needed to change or you could really hurt yourself?

Your lowest weight? I am not sure if it is a good idea to disclose that type of information, but I will say it was in the low 90's

The least number of calories you were consuming? maybe 200 or less

The most amount of times you were vomiting in a day? 2-3 when I did eat

I still havent realized that I need to change I went to renfrew in Connecticut and they didnt help me at all, I actually lost weight while there, which is not supposed to happen right???
So I have come to see that maybe this is who I am this is me....

Hi curiousj3,

I am not really sure of the intent of your question, but as someone who hit rock bottom this last week, I feel like the question should be more about, "if you've hit rock bottom, what happened and how did affect your committment to recovery?". Maybe it's just me, but I'm concerned that your questions have the potential to turn into a competition. Hitting rock bottom is different for everyone and for me, I am finding it quite devastating. I've realized that an ED can and does hurt your body phsycially, tear you down emotionally, and confuse you mentally.

I hope you're hanging in there and if you're hitting rock bottom, that you have a strong treatment team to catch you and help build you back up.

Gentle hugs,

I'm honestly just curious about it. I'm wondering how others have coped at different points and when and how they decided they needed help. I'm curious if most have not searched for help until they have damaged themlselves or if they accepted that they had a problem before becoming too ill.

Hello, curiousj3 and welcome to the ed board.

I see that through your questions you are trying to see if others have similar problems to your own? If you are here for support for your ed, it would be helpful to intruduce yourself.
