Greetings All!
I know with Christmas quickly approaching, many are concerned with how they will cope with their eating disorder. Here are a couple things to consider...
-Take things moment-by-moment.
-When you feel overwhelmed or anxious, do something to try to put your mind at ease - count backwards from 100 down to zero. Take a walk. Read. Meditate. Pray. Play a video game. Check the board, write on the board, etc.
-Be gentle to yourself.
-Enjoy your time with family and friends.
-Set REALISTIC goals! Don't try to set a goal that you know will be very hard to achieve. It's setting yourself up for failure and disappointment.

I hope that you take time to enjoy the day. Christmas is only but once a year. Give yourself a break, let that be present to yourself. Above all, take care of yourself.
We'll check the board often on Christmas. Should you need a moment to vent or "talk"; please, check in.
Catherine
