The nutirtionist on here just told me that I'll have to weight 125 or probally more to get my period back!!! I'm 5'6. If you have recovered from anorexia did you have to gain a bunch of weight to get your period back? I'll absolutely hate my body if I gain that much weight. Thanks!

Hi Alex,


Every person's body has a certain level to which it will start to work properly. The number the nutritionist provided may be just a rough estimate. Every body is different and only your body will let you know what will work. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes time to figure it out. Your body will shut down certain systems to sustain the more important ones. It will remain shut down until the important ones are healthy. It is your body's way of survival.
