Hi Alex,

The more activity you physically do, there is an increase demand on calories. In other words, your body needs calories to do the simplest things (like breathing) and needs even more calories with an increase of physical activity. Like a car, you've got to put gas in in order for it to go. Are you seeing a therapist? Better yet, are seeing a dietician? Because this is something you definately need to talk to them about.

Since you are exercising, it is natural for the body to want to eat more. I dont think you will gain weight by increasing your calorie in take, either. I have thought about that... but realised that when I jog in the mornings, I dont gain an ounce even though it feels as though I have gained so much weight at the end of the day!

How many calories are you expending? Try listening to your body, and if you are hungry, then eat =) But if your not... then maybe figure out if your eating because you are thinking to yourself "its okya to eat because I worked out today". I know I have come across that millions of times!

Best of luck

Although, Im probably not the best person to give advice given that I struggle myself, and normally dont practice what I preach :( but I am trying!

Thank you :) Im a little worried about finding some help on here because I dont want to be a trigger for others who are suffering from anorexia. Im quite border line of wanting to recover, and not wanting to give it up

Ive been through inpatient treatment twice so far (and I just turned 19!) so... I have learned alot, which is why I love to help others. I feel as though Im such a mess that its impossible to help me! But I see others struggling, and it breaks my heart because I dont want girls to fall in the trap :( It makes me sooooo sad!

Thats why you can see me post up replys to girls who are having a difficult time.

Do you have an ED? Take care*
