I know its been a while since I have posted anything. I read almost everyday, but seem to forget to post anything. We have been through 3 cycles of DI at home. The first 2 I knew werent going to work because the timing was just way off. So I modified the timing this time, and the timing was perfect. It still didnt work though. So needless to say I am pretty disapointed. I am going to make an appointment with my OB to discuss IUI. I called the office yesterday, and the non-medicated procedure is only $145.00. If I had known it was that cheap I think we would have gone that route from the beginning. I was wondering if anyone who has done DI with IUI gets 1 vial or 2 vials. We usually get 2, but I wasnt planning on doing back to back IUI's yet so would only 1 be sufficient or should be use 2 vials for 1 procedure? If I only use 1 vial I can actually do it for cheaper than what we were paying to do it at home. I havent decided if I am going to wait a few months or proceed right away. I just found out that one of my good friends is pregnant so I was pretty upset about it. Of course I feel bad about being upset, but I cant help it. She told me through text message, I think because she didnt want to see my reaction. I didnt cry so thats good. They only tried for 3 months, and we have been trying for almost 4 years. It brings me down, but at the same time motivates me to keep going. We have a goal, and thats a baby. I know we can do it, and I have to stay positive! Anyway, any input would be great. I have never done IUI before so Im a little nervous about it.
