Laura,

I also went through Shady Grove and I am 25 weeks pregnant. As for an age limit for their shared-risk shared-donor program I believe it is either late 40's or 50, the natural age of menopause.

We did the 3:1 cycle and our donor had 24 eggs retrieved that were mature. We ended up having a day 5 transfer and had 3 blasts. If we didn't get pregnant or there weren't embryos to freeze you just pick a new donor to cycle with. It is a great program and I highly recommend it. GL!!!

Hi Laura, Welcome.

We did 7 IUIs and 2IVFs w/ my own eggs (and had 3 m/c) and we then found out about the Shady Grove Program. A DE cycle here in Pittsburgh would have been a one shot deal for 23K.

We did the 3 donors to 1 recipient program at SG w/ the 6 fresh tries. It took me 4 times

This Shady grove looks better and better - we live a few minutes from Islip Airport which has Southwest - thats a great idea - I think when the new year comes and my DH is back to work - we will go there - There's a DR here that is involved with DE as well I cam going to see what he has to offer but I am sure it wont be the same...

Thanks I have a bit of hope again...
