ET COMPLETE!!

Hey Everyone! I am back from ET. it went well and that valium they had me take was a GOD-SEND. I was SOOO anxious, my stomach was in knots and it really helped take the edge off. Not sure why tehy don't give that at all clinics, bc/ they definitely should!

Anyhow, we trasnfered 2 blasts, a 4AB and a 3AB. the embryologist said that both were very very good. We toyed w/ transferring 3, the other was a 3BB, but we opted to freeze that one for now. We are freezing 4 today and then there are 7 more that they will watch overnight and see which ones of those will be freezable. She did say to expect only 1 or 2, if we are lucky 3, of those to be freezable. FX for lots of totsicles that hopefully we won't need for AT LEAST a year!!!!!!

The embryologist was very specific that our chances of implantation is 68%. Our doc agreed. Now I'm on strict couch- rest for the next 48

Hey Spencer, did you do a 3dt or a 5dt? I can't remember...sorry! I've only ever done 3dt before and then, they just give you teh # of cells and tell you 1-4 (at my clinic) how it looks, 1 being the best.

Blast gradings, i found out today are MUCH different and more complex. I actually learned a lot today!!!

Oh sure Spencer, here is what I learned today:

They grade blasts by a number, followed by 2 letters.

the # indicates the size of the blast. 1-6 are the #'s, but
