I think all of us have had to suffer through several disappointments on our TTC journeys ... what ways have you dealt w/ your BFN or loss cycles?

I guess I'm a little different than most because I had a disgnosis of premature ovarian failure within 6 months of going off BCPs.

A back-up plan and the thought that I could get pregnant, i also, just had to find a way to stay pregnant. I had three losses and by the time I figured out it was a progesterone problem, I thought, well the next time I get a bfp, I will just start using the progesterone suppositories (sitting in my fridge) immediately, and all will be fine. I had no idea that I wouldn't get another bfp after figuring that out! life is so hard sometimes.

having donor egg be a really good option, makes me rest a bit easier at night!!

What kept me going in the early months (when I had no idea of the road ahead!) was my ease in getting pg w/ #1.

I agree with the pp about having a back up plan. I am way more upset without one. I also gave myself permission to grieve and be mopey after each BFN. I think the one I took the hardest was IVF with my own eggs and my DE m/c, especially after my m/c, I was super ready to hop back on track for my next cycle, without it,

This is a fantastic thread. Unfortunately disappointment has been a constant companion to most of us who end up going the DE Route.
