Welcome to this board.
Welcome! I just gave birth to my 1st child at the age of 45 after 6 yrs of IF. We too went to Shady Grove but they are associated with the Attain Integramed Program. Another option w/ airfare being as discounted as it is would be to fly from John Wayne to Baltimore or even Washington National and take the MARTA to Shady Grove Station. SG has people who travel from England for their shared risk program.....
IVF is a terrific option when you need assistance getting pregnant - and we can help you find the right path that is designed to reduce stress about how much it will cost and help ensure you have the greatest possible opportunity for success.
As an Attain™ IVF Refund participant, you may attempt up to 6 cycles - 3 IVF cycles and 3 frozen embryo cycles - in order to have a baby. And, if treatment is unsuccessful, you'll get up to a 70% refund if you are using your own eggs and 100% if you are using donor eggs. Donor egg recipients: Click here to learn more.
Use our fertility clinic locator to find a fertility center near you and schedule an appointment. Or speak with your Attain IVF Customer Care Representative at (800)-644-1738 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm) to speak with us about how we can help you with In-Vitro Fertilization.
There's a lot of great success stories about SG.
Welcome,I actually went through a fresh DE cycle in October with my local RE in NYC.
Isabel Mom to Sebastian Robert after 3+ years of infertility
thank you for your words of encouragement.
Thanks for walking me over to this side of the board.
I am sorry that things have not gone so smoothly.
I used the same program as Spencer (Shady Grove) and am 20 weeks pg with frozen donor egg twins. I was really, really leery of working with an agency so we went with an RE's office with an in house donor pool. We were very happy with our donors (I did one fresh cycle and one frozen oocyte cycle).
SG really screens their donors and if they don't meet their appointments, pass the psych testing or display odd behavior, they are immediately cut from the program. Also of note, we made sure we chose donors who had successfully donated before to improve our rate of success.
Welcome to the board! Best of luck in your journey!
