I found this thread today. A friend passed away this morning with Liver Cancer. He was diagnosed in early feb of this year. Unfortunately the cancer was so widespread and the tumor was so larger he did not have much hope or chance. He had two surgeries to try and shrink the tumor but to no avail. He was 36 with a wife and 4 yr old son. It is so sad. He actually dies we think cause he fel and hit his head. They took him to the hospital and he died shortly thereafter. It was my husbands business partner and best friend. thanks for listening.

I am sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to breast cancer on May 18th. Sure, maybe she lived more of her life than your guy did (she was 76), but anytime God decides it's time to call someone home, it is always difficult for those left behind. It is still difficult for me. I married five days before she died, and it's hard for me to think that if we ever have kids, she will not know them in a physical way.
In my Catholic faith, we believe that those that have gone to Heaven can intercede with God for us in life. Chances are, this is not your faith, but try calling to your friend. He may answer in your heart.

Beth this is the most beautiful thought, thank you, I will remember this thought and use it myself.
