I was here posting about my MIL. Well on Tuesday, we were called and told that she was not good. We loaded up and came to the city. Dh went to visit her in the hopsital and I went to dh parent's house. Dh came home and about 4 in the morning, he and his brother were called back to the hopsital. They arrived and she passed.
We are trying to deal with this the best we can. She told us that she was feeling good and was coming to visit us this weekend no matter what. I guess she was not telling us the whole truth. We had the viewing today and on Saturday is the funeral.
We are ok but it is a big shock to the entire family. Thank God we have Kayden to keep smiles on everyones faces right now. I think she is the best medicine for dh's father right now. He is really enjoying the time with her.

I just lost my mom to cancer, too. My husband and I were on our honeymoon, and were not reached until a half an hour after she died. I would have liked to have been by her bedside, but though I knew she would be dying soon I didn't know it would have to be during our honeymoon. If we had known, we wouldn't have gone.
Remember, our moms are in a better place, now. We will see them someday.
