Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew much about ovarion cancer. My Aunt was diagnosed a month ago and she is not doing well at all. I do know that ovarion cancer is hard to detect, and usually its too late once you have been diagnosed. When they opened her up to check how far it has spread it was all over the place including her lungs. It is hard for her to breath, keeping her on oxygen. She has been in the hospital the whole time, they have tried giving her chemo but she is too week and it seems like the cancer is spreading faster then they can catch it. Cancer is such a horrible thing, I know God is always in control but sometimes its just hard to accept.

Laura

I am so sorry about your Aunt. Mine was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer also, but it was a fluke that she was diagnosed so soon. She needed an MRI for back pain, and the cancer was discovered.

Hugs and prayers to you and your family

Beth I am so sorry to hear about your Aunt also being diagnosed with Ov Ca, it sounds like they may have caught it a bit early?

Hey Judy

Aunt L has stage 1 ovarian cancer. Unbelievable that it was caught just because she had leg pains and needed an MRI to discern the cause. Oddly enough, the pain in the legs has gone since the 2 tumors were removed.

That family has been through too much. Uncle S has cancer, now Aunt L. Last year their granddaughter and the stroke, then last Friday, one of their Son-ILs had a heart attack. He is only 40. He will be okay.

Ugh. They need a break.

As I was rereading this post, Beth, and focused on the leg pain that disappeared after removing her tumors it rang a bell in my head since I too have leg pain.
