Hi,
Let me introduce myself first. My name is Christy and my grandmother (67) was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in June 2005 and was given about 2 years to live. She went through radiation and chemo for six months and started to get better. When she went in for her check-up we found that it had moved to the brain where she had multiple tumors on her brain that were not operable. She then went on chemo and whole brain radiation again. Recently in February, it had spread to her neck and she received 15 more days of radiation and was told that chemo would no longer help her and that she had 3 weeks to live. That was February 1 and she is still her today...
The doctor has released her from his care and they have asked us to bring in Hospice. We have not brought hospice in yet because she is doing really well, granted she is on steroids which I think is where her energy comes from. She has always had an active lifestyle and has been golfing and doing her yard as of last week.
Ok, so here is my question. I have heard some great things about Essiac Tea and how people who were given weeks to live have started on the tea and lived for many years.
Has anyone heard of this tea, had someone use it, etc? Any information any of you have on this topic would be great.
Thanks!
-Christy
