Hi everyone. about a year ago my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. she has had surgery and 3 types of chemo. her cancer is treatment resistant (rafractory) and very aggressive. her last chemo stopped working a few weeks ago and we are trying to get her into a clinical trial but each day she gets worse. she is in excruciating pain, taking 75 of phentanyl patch and 4 dilauted pills (sorry for misspellings). her quality of life just got bad a couple weeks ago, when the pain worsened so severely.it is very hard for me cuz i live 1000 miles away and cant even afford the airfaire home to visit, gotta ask my dad or sis to pay my way. does anyone have experience with this type of cancer or with clinical trials? i fear mom does not have much time left.
thanks for your support. i am so sorry for all that you too are going thru.

Hi Ardia,
Ovarian cancer is a tough one to treat but there are many different kinds of chemo available now and I'm wondering which your mom's been on and if her oncologist is recommending an additional course of chemo.
Hi Ardia
I am so sorry your Mom is so very ill.
