Hi everyone i have posted here once before when my husband was fighting colon cancer.
He passed away june 10th at 1:30 in the morning. I just cant believe it. He was soul mate and he died. We were married for 20 years. He was suffering so much. He cancer was detected in 3/05 but further test showed it had spread to his liver. With chemo the tumors shrunk in the liver by 90% but some reason two months later the tumors grew back with a vengence. Then to my dismay the cancer spread to his lungs and back. He fought a hard battle but during this time i never lost faith and prayed for his healing. But God had other plans for him. He knew he was going to die and asked for his loved one to come to the hospital to say his last goodbyes. THen in the early morning of the 10th he told that he loved so much and that to take care of his kids my 2yr old and my10yr old. That he would look after me from heaven. I told to go and that the angels are waiting for him
to go and rest from the pain. He gave a final look and i hugged and kissed him and close his eyes and passed. I miss his so much and it hurts so bad. I cry all day and night
but i have to be stong for my children. He was only 43yrs old. I feel so alone even though i have my kids. I wish he was here but i know he is not suffering anymore

i love u thomas and our love will go on .

So sorry for your loss. How wonderful that the two of you shared those last few minutes together. He was way, way too young. But, cancer is an equal opportunity disease striking young and old, men and women and all races. Sending condolences your way and prayers for easier days. Hugs, Lauri
