hi everyone. i have a question regarding bladder cancer. my mother has an appt with a urologist next week, but i have some questions i'm hoping you can help me with.
my mom is 65 years old and a breast cancer survior. with her age and birth of three children, her bladder is basically "falling out". while going to the bathroom she felt a lump, the sixe of a robins egg on her bladder, she got a mirror and looked, and saw it is colored and is indeed a lump.
my questions.... has anyone seen a lump like this before a diagnoisis of cancer? she is really scared, and i'm looking for some help since this is a new thing.
any info. would be helpful.
thanks,
alissa

I have no idea if that would be cancer or not. There could be so many causes. Please let us know what the DR says.

No way to tell what this might be without having the doctor check it. Your mom is young enough that, if this is not cancer, she might want to consider surgery to shore up her bladder so it stays in place. I think they can do that. Just dropped by to see if there was anyone who needed help while Philly is under the weather. Good luck to your mom. Please come back and let us know what she finds out. Lauri

Thanks for your concern. My mom went to the doctor and he said that what she saw and felt was actually her uterus! We were very relieved.
Thank you again for your concern.
