Hi everyone,
Have a few questions and hoping you can help me out. My dad formed a tumor on his nose in May. He held off for a while and at the end of June his nose was removed. Things were going pretty good and he got operated on again the beginning of Sept supposedly for adhesions. Well, it was the tumor growing back again. His only option now is radiation. We went on the initial visit and should be getting a call for the next one.
Here is my dilimena. My dad is 82 and has never doctored up until this past summer. His vitals are pretty good right now. Anyway, he and I are going to talk tonight, but I am pretty sure he is going to refuse the radiation.
This last tumor grew in about a 2 month time frame, so we're probably only looking at a few months before it is back again. It is down to his nerve endings and will definitely start destroying everything in his face. He knows this, but would rather make the most of the few months he has than endure radiation.
I guess what I need to know is what I should start doing to prepare what is going to happen. Are there any natural options that I can at least get him to try? I really don't know where to start on this. Although I have family, I already know that they will not be helping me. What is going to happen will all be on me. Any advice you can give me here will really be appreciated.

I am so very sorry your Dad has to go through this.
Thanks Philly.
Hello
Oh I am so sorry that the doctor and nurse won't take the time to slow down enough to explain everything.
At the cancer hospital I attended for my Mass, we were assigned case workers that we could call after seeing the doctors.
